Welcome to OCC's Library Page!

We're proud of our growing library - a list of our materials is below. Here's how it works:

1. Lending:

a. the library will be open at all regular meetings;

b. you may borrow any item for a one-month period; this means that, if you borrow something on the second-Monday meeting, you can keep it until the next second-Monday meeting; items are available at the break (come by and browse!) and for ten (10) minutes after the meeting ends; an item is due before a meeting starts (so we can account for it and have it ready to lend at the break!);

c. you may only borrow one (1) item per month; the exception is magazines – you can borrow up to two (2) magazines per month;

d. you may borrow something every month (please take advantage of the library) but you cannot borrow the same item two (2) months in a row (let someone else share in the fun!);

e. every item will have a card; print and sign your name on the card, hand it to us at the library table and the item is yours to enjoy for a month!

f. the mean part:

(1) failure to return an item when due results in suspension of competition privileges and library borrowing privileges;

(2) failure to return an item within a month after due results in suspension of membership and a bill for the cost of replacing the item!

2. Reservations - we're not taking reservations online yet but you can reserve an item at the break during the meeting!

3. Library Table:

a. open before the meeting to accept returns;

b. open at the mid-meeting break and after the meeting for you to pick up items or select available items;

c. you can reserve items at the mid-meeting break and after the meeting;
