Image was taken with a single Nikon SB800 flash fired wirelessly with an SU800 IR controller. The flash was placed 4' to the right of the subject at an angle of approx. 20 degrees and fired through a 42"
Photoflex diffuser. Fill was provided with a white Photoflex reflector.

The image was initially processed and cropped in Adobe Lightroom. The striations in the metal were enhanced in PSCS3 using the Tonal Contrast filter in the Nik Color EFex 3.0 plug-in. The image was finally converted to black and white using a beta version of Nik Silver EFex Pro.
