I have had these leaves for over 5 years waiting for the right opportunity to photograph them...I knew they needed to be back lit to appreciate their shape and texture.  I scanned the leaves with back of scanner open which gave the black background.  I converted the image to black and white as the leaves were a beige color.  It was printed on an Epson 2400 on Epson enhanced matte paper
